E: The BKS Bank in Slovenia
The BKS Bank is represented in Slovenia with branch offices a Representative Office and a leasing company.
The BKS-leasing d.o.o. of today was purchased by the BKS Bank in 1998 and since that time the BKS has been doing business in Slovenia. Within the BKS Bank, the BKS-leasing d.o.o. is responsible for the development of the Slovenian market in the area of leasing-financing.
In 1999 a Representative Office followed the leasing company.
The BKS Bank opened its first foreign branch office in Ljubljana in November 2004. Its presence on the market in Slovenia began as "BKS Bank AG, Bančna podružnica".
The BKS Bank concentrates its efforts in Slovenia primarily on loan and credit business. Loans are offered to private, and corporate and business customers. The emphasis for private customers is on home and consumers loans. Corporate and business customers are offered long-term investment loans, short-term credit lines and operating loans as well as guarantees. We can now also offer our corporate and business customers the possibility to hold term deposit accounts.
The start of over-the-counter business will be in the business year 2008 for both, retail and corporate customers. Further expansions will be in the area of investment business. Aside from classical savings forms, a focus will be placed on funds and wealth management. The BKS Bank will be able to offer its customers all the services of a universal bank.
